Who are we?

The company was formed in 1892, when the principal occupation was that of a Stockbroker. As it developed, both Insurance Broking and Travel Agency were added, until in 1948 the insurance brokerage Moscrop Robinson & Chadwick was formed as a partnership between the founder, his daughter and Eddie Chadwick.

In more recent times, the partnership has been extended and the business has grown further by the integration of the well-established brokerages, SH Stevens & Co, E Morgan Insurances, Medical Auxiliary Insurance Brokers, Westbrook Life & Pensions and Stinton, Brockbank & Uttley.

Among the partners and staff, many are qualified by examination, in both the General Insurance and Financial Services fields. Specialists can be found to take care of all our clients' needs.

Although we are a long established firm and value the reputation that we have earned over the years, we are not standing still and take full advantage of modern technology to help us maintain the Personal Service upon which our reputation has been built.

The Company has continued to evolve and is now a highly diversified provider of Financial and General Insurance advice. At the beginning of 2009, in order to meet the ever demanding needs of modern business, we restructured and took the opportunity of forming Moscrops Financial Planning Ltd. The new company, whilst a wholly owned subsidiary, is directly regulated by the FSA and is led by Peter Bolton with the support of the existing advisers and administration team.
